Every year, the ISAPP European network organises schools addressed first to doctorate students -experimentalists, observers and theorists- in the astroparticle domain.

The present school will be held in Paris, at the AstroParticle Cosmology (APC) laboratory, from 2 to 13 July 2012, and is dedicated to the multi-messenger approaches in high energy astrophysics, a subject of particular relevance this year of the centenary of the discovery of cosmic rays: cosmic-ray and gamma-ray astrophysics are now reaching maturity, while gravitational and neutrino astronomy are getting close to actual measurements. The goal of the school is to offer a complete perspective to students who are often involved in only one aspect.

Introductory courses will set the scene at the edges between particle physics and astrophysics, while main lectures will review the high energy processes in the Universe on both observational and theoretical aspects. The challenges to detect neutrinos, cosmic-rays, gamma-rays and gravitational waves will be addressed through lectures illustrated with recent astrophysical results.

The program will be completed by a prospective outlook of the domain, and a review of the situation regarding the Dark Universe.

The schedule is organized with time slots devoted to interactions between students and teachers. Participants are encouraged to bring posters presenting their research work, as well as an abstract. Sessions will be organised for the posters to be presented.

The School is open to PhD students and post-docs working in the field of high energy astrophysics and particle physics. A letter from each registrant's advisor is mandatory to finalize the registration process. Attendance is limited to 60 participants.
